When one of our gas engineers visits your property, they will follow the necessary steps to protect you and them. Here’s what will happen before and during a visit.

When we arrange an appointment with you, we will ask if you or any members of your household are showing any symptoms of the virus. Please don’t be offended by this, we want to protect you and our engineers.

An engineer will not visit your property if they are showing any symptoms of Coronavirus, however mild.

If you can, make sure that access to your property (and the area that needs to be worked on) is clear. That way, the engineer will not need to make contact with your belongings unnecessarily.

When an engineer arrives at your property, they will step a safe distance back before you open your door, and greet you without contact.

The engineer will be wearing a face masks and gloves, and be equipped with hand sanitiser. They will also have antibacterial spray or antibacterial wipes and paper towels to clean any surface they touch while visiting your property.

All tools and equipment brought into your property will be properly sanitised.

We will maintain a 2-meter (6.5 feet) safe distance during the visit. Please make sure that you also do the same.

In normal circumstances, an engineer would welcome a drink. But these are not normal circumstances, so please don’t feel obliged to make one for them.

All payments should be made electronically, by bank transfer. Our invoicing will also be electronic.
